Hey!
I have been working within the Community Services field for over 10 years. During this time, I have had extensive experience within the youth homelessness sector across Crisis Refuges, Outreach support with people sleeping rough, Community Engagement and Early intervention programs in both Case Work & Youth Work.
I have also been Oncall support for a disability service state wide ensuring service provision is run smoothly, support workers are offered advice and procedures are adhered to.
Upon reflection of the support I’ve provided vulnerable clients over the years, my proudest achievements have been with those living with a disability. To see a person’s outlook on life change, to be able to empower them to become more independent and witness them name and achieve their desired goals has been a strong highlight.
I am excited to bring a new perspective with on working with people with disabilities with a strong emphasis on Empowering Growth & Nurturing Independence.
